We are proud to be a part of the Pacolet Milliken family of companies. Located in Barnesville, Georgia, we are able to support forestry operations within 100 miles. We generate 55 net megawatts of electricity using woody biomass. Our operating process creates jobs from the moment the wood is turned to waste to the time it's turned to energy.

We offer a unique training program where employees receive wage adjustments if they qualify for the next level even when there are no vacant positions. While monetary donations are great, we also believe in community presence. It is for this reason that employees volunteer and serve on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls club. Employees also participate in school functions such as career day, mock job interviews for upcoming high school graduates, and teacher appreciation events.
Wood to Watts
Our fluid bed combustion technology is one of the most efficient in the woody biomass industry — 83-86% efficiency.
We burn 65 tons of untreated wood waste, sourced from within 100 miles, to generate 55 net megawatts of renewable power. It's high-tech meets sustainable forestry, creating an efficient system built around local resources.
Ash for Agriculture
Our ash product, a residual of our wood burning process, gives Georgia farmers an affordable liming substitute option that offers extra micronutrients. Farmers use our ash to raise soil pH, add essential calcium and trace minerals, and reduce fertilizer needs. Our ash product is registered with the Georgia Department of Agriculture as a liming product, which is used as a premium agricultural product.

The Scale House Operator maintains scaling-in, unloading, and scaling-out of all fuel trucks. Typically, the number of fuel trucks per day ranges from 100 to 140. They also have the task of monitoring the fuel for foreign debris, such as trash, glue, metal, and other materials that we are not permitted to burn.
The Fuel Handler oversees operations within the fuel yard.
The Fuel Handler oversees operations within the fuel yard. Their responsibilities include supplying the correct amount of fuel to the combustor and monitoring both the stacker and the reclaimer. Oversees fuel stacking and receiving, along with the responsibility of providing fuel to the combustor.
